After an exhausting day of meeting deadlines and juggling the pressures of life, one of my favourite ways to unwind, reset, or find inspiration is by watching something comforting. These YouTubers create soothing, uplifting content that feels as approachable as FaceTiming a friend. Here are a few YouTube creators whose videos I keep coming back to.
Cherrien
She’s an easygoing, artful, and unflappable lifestyle YouTuber. Cherrien’s videos feel like spending time with a friend whose presence brings calm and stillness to your otherwise chaotic life. She vlogs her day-to-day, sharing the ceramic pieces she’s crafting for exhibitions, books she’s currently reading, cool cafés in Seoul, and the quiet joy of enjoying your own company. A peaceful and effortlessly stylish creator, her content is like a breath of fresh air.
Deborah B
Deborah’s channel took off quickly with her apartment tour and testimony video—both of which struck a chord with viewers who connected with her journey as a faith-based (Christian) YouTuber. Her content ranges from vlogs and lifestyle chats to podcast-style videos she calls Faith Talks, plus motivation and testimony-style storytelling. Watching Deborah feels like catching up with your bestie, chatting about life, God, and everything in between.
Toni Bravo
Toni Bravo is effortlessly cool—what some might even call an “It girl.” She’s confident but still approachable, and her videos are a beautiful reflection of her personal style and creative vision. Toni blends camcorder footage with crisp, high-definition clips, giving her videos a cinematic yet modern feel. She talks about current makeup looks, her favourite skincare and makeup products, and casually vlogs her life. She’s that creator who makes you want to try everything she recommends—because somehow, it all just works on her.
Superlumos
Superlumos is a French YouTuber based in Paris whose journey has been so inspiring to follow. He’s a vlogger and a coffee enthusiast—very much the kind of creator you find yourself rooting for. He recently (depending on when you’re reading this) moved into his own apartment, a huge milestone that his audience celebrated with him, simply because he’s shared how much it means to him. His content includes daily vlogs, moments with friends, and dreamy travel diaries.
ACE is a Korean YouTuber whose content is super relatable (maybe minus all the luxury items she owns), especially if you’re a corporate girlie. She shares both the highs and lows of working life and doesn’t shy away from talking about what’s working—and what isn’t—in her routines. Her videos feel like a FaceTime catch-up where she fills you in on her week. She’s also very consistent—you can almost always expect a new video every Sunday. If you’re into K-beauty, her skincare recommendations are golden.
