In many ways, this EP feels like what ME—her previous album under YG Entertainment—could have been. It presents a bolder, more mature evolution of Flower and All Eyes on Me. Amortage is unmistakably JISOO—strong-willed yet playful and light when needed.
The album opens with the title track, Earthquake, a bold and expressive dance-pop song. It then transitions into Your Love, a track that captures the rush of admiration and puppy love, with heartfelt lyrics like, “You make me complete, you look like everything I see in my dreams.” Next is TEARS, a lyrically powerful song that delves into the raw yet resolute emotions of heartache. Finally, Hugs & Kisses closes the EP with a message of moving on, rediscovering self-worth, and realizing how one deserves to be treated in love.
